Hi Kabzaacosta, First check if the kitchen peaks are for bottled gas. They may be spikes for natural gas. Second, adjust the burner air inlet so that the flame is clean, light blue and does not make the typical "torch" noise, it should not have yellowish flames (like those of a candle). Everything is handled by regulating the air intake. But first make sure they are spikes for bottled gas. Eye! ... The yellow flame and especially the one that leaves soot, indicates that it is burning badly and is releasing carbon monoxide that in high proportions is deadly. Beware of that! ...
