Good afternoon, I have a Panasonic microwave NN-GD376S and suddenly when I turned it on, the Light was cut off, I disassembled it and I saw that a resistor R 1 that is on the input plate next to the fuse was burned, I changed it and when plugging it in without turning it on, the resistance was burned again, I would like someone Can you help me to know that I have to look. I am not professional but I really like the electronics issue I would like to be able to repair it. I attach a photo Thanks a lot

This palaca is only a network filter and is under tension even if the microwave is turned off.
The photo I provide is not clear and the colors of the resistance are not clearly visible.
Most likely, it would put a resistance 10 times lower than the correct value.



As I said, that resistance cannot be of that value for the simple reason that it is connected between phase and neutral. With a very simple calculation we can see that if it were 7k5 as you say, it would produce a power of 6.5 watts if the network voltage is 220 volts. That means the destruction of the resistance in a few seconds by heat. The value of that resistance has to be between 560k ohms and 650k ohms. I give you an outline of another microwave of the same brand but different model and in it you see the value of R1. The part of the filter circuit is red and R1 in green. I just resumed the repair, I tell him to install a resistor of 649 and when plugged it it burned again look at the 3 door switches in case it had something to do but they are fine thanks

649 ohms is not correct. You have to put one of 560,000 or greater (560k) as indicated above.


