Hello good morning, I wanted to ask you a question. My microwave started to make sparks, take it apart, clean and sand the charred area and paint it with epoxy spray paint, then replace the mica. So far so good, the issue is that due to the spark jump the antenna has a small hole and at the moment I do not get a replacement of the cap only sell me the complete magnetron. My question is this, you can cover that hole with metal erpox or solder with tin. If that cannot be done, I have read that an antenna can be made from an electrolytic capacitor or a sewing thimble. Change it from another magnetron that no longer serves.
