Good afternoon, I'm checking this microwave of a neighbor turns on everything well but does not heat. I am a technician on TV and I was watching in the forum and I followed some tips, I checked with the multimeter the fuse that usually opens, and it had continuity, then I measured on the legs of the magnetron and it also gives me continuity and finally change the power diode but still unheated

In the magnetron, even if it marks you well, the internal filament is usually damaged and it is not detected, change the magnetron, if you have a used one out there, try it, if it already works and heats up, change the new magnetron or if the used client wants it , you can put it a little cheaper, greetings

What you have to do before changing the magnetron is to measure if the voltage of the transformer primary reaches voltage. You have to remove the wires from the primary, then you place your tester in alternating current, you place a tip of the tester in a cable and the other tip in another cable to work. For a while the icroondas and see if you have any value, the tetser should mark the tension in your country
