Hello, a CA-8180 coffee machine came into my hands that I was about to discard in my work because I was not walking. I disassembled it below (it has 2 phillips and 2 U screws) and I discovered that the problem is the now recurring problem of almost all electrical appliances "THE THERMAL FUSE". . Easy to detect, easy to replace and repair.
The problem arose that when I was disassembling the silicone hoses they broke (they were as degraded). I said OK, let's change them ... and there began my TRUE PROBLEM:
I CANNOT DISASSEMBLE THE TOP OF THE COFFEE MACHINE TO GET ACCESS TO CHANGING THE HOSES.
I am not a repair professional, I do not dedicate myself to this but I do it as a hobby to rescue many evicted appliances and I boast of being skilled enough to disarm anything bypassing the intricate traps set by the manufacturers. Well, this is not the case.
I removed 4 screws hidden under caps that were on the top, I removed 6 screws that were in the middle (where the top makes contact with the jar). Two of them hold the silver plastic front where the digital control is. But after removing all the possible screws, I could not disassemble a piece. Neither the front of the digital control nor the top cover or anything at all. Everything is very tight., He did not even take any kind of game after he removed the screws. I applied pressure and measured force (not to break) and nothing. Do you have any other screws? Any locks? Any secret? I'd appreciate your help.
This is the coffee maker.
This is the part that I can't remove and the screws that I take out
