Hello people how are you! I came to the workshop this 55p Led TV, it turns on 1 second giving a screenshot and turns off. I tell you that I already did the source tests as they taught me here, place a resistance between the 5v and the STby and it lights, I took tensions, I have the 24 stable ones that go to the inverter, the 12 and the 16. Having a little background with these failures after reviewing the source, I decided to disassemble it very carefully and try to reach the backlight LEDs. OOO my surprise when for the first time I see that alone It has a thin strip of LEDs only on one side ... which is supported by an aluminum heatsink. Take the led tester and test the strip. It has two entrances at each end with three wires each. When touching a positive one and the other one in the negative one a quarter of a strip turns me on and the other pin the other quarter, if the next half lights. Until here everything is fine, when I measure the other half I notice that there is a LED that does not turn on and if I put the two points together to turn on half of the strip, a fourth turns on strong and the other does not, (where the burned LED is enclosed). . I go to the TV and put the strip to see the effect it does and verify why it goes off the second ..... I notice that when it turns on it only turns on the two extreme quarters of the complete strip .... (if you don't explain to me please let me know.) Place a jumper on the burned led and test it and do the same, it goes off to the second. Do you think that the problem is the LEDs? or the inverter? thank you very much for your help!!

Thank you Francisco for the answer .... do you know if there is any way to know what the defective LEDs will be? only one did not turn on and I would like to put some resistance to see if the TV comes out of protection

The problem you have in the LEDs replaces the damaged LEDs.
