Thin-film transistor or TFT (thin film transistor) is a special type of field effect transistor that is manufactured by depositing thin films of an active semiconductor as well as a layer of dielectric material and metal contacts on a support substrate. These TFT drivers are in turn controlled by the signals coming from the Multiplexer that will indicate to which TFT they should feed, which is when a "Pixel" is illuminated, depending on the signal this pixel will be illuminated with the color of said RGB signal , these are very complex to explain and understand, the construction and operation of an LCD panel should be thoroughly studied.
By knowing the internal structure of an LCD panel, you can understand how TFTs provide image and color.
