Goodnight. I got this microsonic tv that has a few decades, of those with wooden housing. Which doesn't turn on, and I found this capacitor exploded The tag says; 400v 033 (k) I guess it's a 400v x 0.33 pfu electrolytic. I would appreciate clarification of the doubt It also intrigues me if they are still achieved. Thanks in advance Running

Good night, the photo is not very clear ... In some of those there are diagrams of an old TV like this, as long as it is not valvular, I do not know, Do you recognize the chassis at least of the TV Model? ... Of What stage is the capacitor? From what I see it is of the axial type, but it is impossible for me to clearly see the values ... It seems electrolytic ... (Or vintage capacitors ...)

Hello, how intriguing, can you tell us the model of the TV and the part number of the electrolytic in question? I never saw an electrolytic 33nanos capacitor

Good view! I have to check it further, I'm going to change the capacitor and see how it goes. I'll comment again later. Thank you all

I placed a 22nf x 400v polyester capacitor (it had none of 33) and turned it on.
The image takes time to lighten but remains a bit dark. The fly has no pot, there are only two potentiometers in front for brightness and contrast.
Is there any way to increase the brightness or is the tube already exhausted?

Hi P2016, it seems to be one of .033 uf / 400 V - You can use one of polyester of the same value and voltage equal or higher. Regards

I was very surprised that it was electrolytic. I was thinking of using a polyester one, thanks for confirming

I gave you like, but it was zero because someone voted negative for your comment! I will give you the same as a solution because you were the first to pass the data
