Hello, I would like to know if someone can guide me on how to measure the output voltages of the backlight of a led samsumg, its power supply which is also the source backlight has the code BN44 -00609A the idea is to activate the source and measure the voltages without connecting the LED strips and thus verify that the source is fine [img] https://adjuntos.yoreparo.com/imagen_post/0004/16/479d77bf1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1db1bb1 img]

To test the source you must bridge between 3.3v and power on with a r of 1k and measure all voltages of course with the backlite and main disconnected Greetings

This source is auto turned on, that is, just disconnect the main, and connect the TV to the current, the source will give you all the voltages, if you have the LEDs connected and all are well, I will have to turn on the backlight ... greetings .

Hi, thank you for responding, perform the test with the main disconnected and the LEDs did not light up. My question is with the LEDs disconnected and the main one, too, how do I measure the voltages by skipping the source protection?

The source will deliver all the voltages when connected to the network, if you have a short LED, it could revive the protection, so before connecting the source, first place the tip of the tester in the place to be measured, and comment on the voltage it gives you, if it doesn't give you any voltage you could have damaged the dcdc converter

Looking at the board it has printed Led drive uotput for this tv 42 "CH1 147v 280mA, CH2 195v 280mA, I also measured the D3N40 on the diode scale and they are ok.

What do you have in primary

The voltage measured in the 290v filters confirm that the backlight voltage is present, very high because it does not close the circuit, you have no output voltage, which confirms damaged LEDs .... greetings.
