Hello community, my problem is the following: I have a Viewsonic Va1703wb monitor, it shows the image and turns off the second after turning it on, it was showing symptoms, it was difficult to acquire all the brightness, it began to get a pinkish color on its sides until it acquired its full brightness. Now it only turns on a second at very low brightness and turns off. I would appreciate if you could guide me in the problem, thanks.

You checked something, it seems to be a problem in the power of the backlight.



About 6 years ago they gave it to me and I didn't turn on anything, I changed some capacitors that were defective and replace them with others of the same value but higher voltage and it went well. I checked them and they were fine just in case I changed them anyway and still the same problem the only one that doesn't change is one of 100uf by 400V assuming I was in condition



Check if the voltages remain stable on the CN902 connector after it is turned off, there must be 12V on pins 6 and 7, and 5V or 3.3 on pins 9 and 10.



Finally solve the problem. It was one of the fluorescent lamps that did not work well and then the inverter shuts off as a protection measure. The reddish color prior to the problem was an indication that the incandesence of the lamp was running out.
