IMG-20170119-01183.jpg [976.47kb] need the diagram switched source of a dvd brand pressure model pdvx 1888, 110 vac or at least inform me about the value of the main capacitor of the source (the large one) that is at the entrance of the hot stage, filtering stage as this was erased uf values and is bad, if any of the collaborators have it and can inform me we will be highly grateful

Please upload a photo of the source and with what AC voltage (VAC) is the DVD working?



I uploaded the photo. It is 110-240 voltage, 50-60 Herdz (works with 110 in this country Venezuela)



Watching DVD diagrams and circuits mostly use capacitors between 33uf to 47uf 400v.
You could place a 47uf / 400v by placing a 100W bulb in series between the AC line input and the DVD.
That way it will serve as protection to take readings and feel temperatures


