DVD tray LG mod DV-453 does not open

I have a problem with an LG dvd mod DV-453, the disc tray does not open ... I continued to uncover it to check the possible problem .... notice that the motor (5v) that drives the tray turns very slowly and stops , it seems to be without force. I disassembled and overflowed it ... the motor is in good condition, check the voltage that feeds it and surprise gives me 3.5 v, check the cable to the connector of the board and it is good if someone knows the step to continue with this voltage problem to said motor

As I test the ic driver (am5888s L / F) at least the part that feeds the tray motor ... thanks

note that ic driver uses download the datasheet ... it has a pin that regulates the force, be careful that the belt is not tightened by others and that the mechanism is not hard



Hello friend, it is quite common to find that the motor measures much more than 12 ohms. The solution is to put the motor in isopropyl alcohol for a few minutes. Then let it dry and with a regulated source apply a voltage of 12 V. at the terminals for 20 seconds. then reverse the polarity and reapply this voltage. Then we measure to verify that the ohmic value has decreased to the valid range that ranges between 8 and 12 ohms. greetings <br>
