It has an important short ... Send a good photo of the source, or identify the registration of the same in one of those there are diagrams .... TNYxxx suspect if this is the IC that carries in the source

So I entered the source? to me it seems to me that someone simply replaced the fuse by that resistance ... These sources are better to replace them by some universal with the same tensions and size to be able to adapt them to the cabinet of the DVD player. (Chopper transformers tend to be bad, but the TNY are also heavy)
